How do I install a Counter on my page?

What is System CGI?
System CGI is a set of pre-installed CGI Scripts in our cgi-bin directory such as formmail.cgi, CGI.pm, imagemap etc. You can use the following set of URL's to use these scripts:

The following scripts are available at this time:
- formmail.cgi
This is a script which can be used for a Web Page Form similar to what we use for our on-line order forms. Scroll up to the third question for instructions.
- CGI.pm
This is a widely used perl module for writing CGI/Perl scripts. To use it you can simply use the line " use CGI; " in your script(s).
- imagemap
This is used for server side imagemaps.
- cgi-lib.pl
Another perl library used with perl scripts.

Can I use my own CGI scripts?
Yes you can use your own CGI scripts with a Standard Account or better. Place them in your cgi-bin directory and make them executable (755). If you do not have a cgi-bin directory, create one (only if you have a Standard account or better) and make this directory also executable (chmod 755). You can use an FTP program like Cute FTP (available from www.tucows.com) to change the file attributes or you can use the Site Manager from the DRW Account Control Panel. Return To FAQ
What file extension do I need to use for my CGI Scripts?
